I have started to wonder recently how long before we see aa tattooed model liike Sara Fabel grabing that all importannt and elusive front cover of a high end fashion magazine such as Vogue or Elle. Then when you see Jesse at Destroyer Inc produce a wonderful well though out piece like this you realise that maybe a front cover for something like Vogue won't be such a pipe dream.

Both model and photograph have kept the shot simple and straightforward. On the photographers side no flash tricks no out there ideas or effects just a good, clean, strong portrait with no messing about. The nice thing about that is so many photographers seem to be forgetting that there are times when a good clean straightforward portrait is more effective.

The model for her part in the creation of an excellent cover style portrait has kept the pose simple and strong. Her silhouette is strong and flawless and her make-up is understated. Her hair is beautifully groomed and in a shot like this, for it to work, the hair must be well groomed. All in all a very well presented piece.

Having said all that my rating on vision and originality may seem mean but at the end of the day it is a standard cover shot so the vision and originality will suffer. My only real complaint and it is one I have of a lot of photographers is a bit tighten on the cropping of the final piece.
