Firstly, I do like this. I love the model's attitude and her outift. The location and the lighting are simply superb. Technically I can't find fault in this image. The model, background and processing work together perfectly to create a truly sound image. In short, it is pleasing to the eye, and my eye does like to be pleased <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" />

However, that's all there is. There is some suggestion of character in the model's pose, but other than that, it's bland - to put it bluntly.

Sometimes you need or want to create something that is mindless yet attractive. If that was your aim you did it perfectly.

But if you wanted to make the viewer feel something or be cpativated or wonder who this is and what their story is - there is little to grab hold of in this. Even in fashion photography or something else designed to be simply attractive, there can sitll be an implied character and story.

You could achieve that through using a less "pose-y" shot of the model, by composing the shot differently [less of the model being front and centre], using props or even changing your angle from the standard "front-on".

All in all, this is technically a very good piece but it lacks the edge of personality that seperates simple photography from art.
